Hello
I’m Dani Greenwood I do a lot of online zoom work and in person classes.
Distance is not a problem due to me doing online courses and zooms means I can easily help people all over the world with their dogs from America to Spain to Australia.
I am reward based and base all my training on building motivation, reinforcement history, using what the dog wants to our advantage and building good solid foundations and a good relationship.

I currently own 3 sighthounds and a Staffordshire bull terrier. I’ve had sighthounds for the last 18 years after having Labradors and Staffordshire bull terriers and without a doubt they humbled me while also making me a better trainer. I have worked through reactivity with my one of my own dogs and other peoples dogs.
I have competed in agility, fly ball and obedience competitions with my sighthounds and I fully believe they can be trained to a high standard but how you approach that training needs to be tweaked slightly to suit the temperament, traits and motivation of the sighthound.
I have been part of display teams and done demos at country shows/fairs for the public.

I see prey drive as something we can use to our advantage instead of working against it to get what we want. My monthly online recall courses have helped hundreds of people as well as my pre made courses.
I also see dog training as a puzzle and it’s my job to slot the pieces together to help the owner and the dog towards success. I love working out the puzzle pieces I need for a specific situation and seeing owners and dogs light up and improve their relationship.

My education is I have studied all of School of canine science courses, fenzi dog training courses, in person workshops I attend, the regular hands on experience I get through working with dogs and also regularly researching and reading different ways I can tackle problems but twist it to suit the needs of the sighthound. I also believe you never stop learning so I continue to take different online courses and read and watch as much as I can so I can continue to help dogs.

Motivating the dogs to wanting to work with us with joy and enthusiasm is one of my favourite things.
I tend to approach things differently to how many trainers usually do things so I’ve been told which helps tap into the sighthound traits or dogs that can be hard to motivate.

If you would like to work in person with me or via zoom send me a email and we can have a chat. I am based near Crewe in Cheshire.
